OUR SERVICES CHARGES AND TERMS OF BUSINESS

Prices for January – December 2010

The prices of our programmes and services as shown below. Usually our programmes will be managed by a course director who will deliver most of the sessions. He or she will introduce other speakers that will normally include a specialist financial consultant so that we comply with the Financial Services Authority rules.Frequently clients arrange for someone to explain the company pension scheme and occasionally representatives of a retired staff association or company social club will give a talk. Should a client wish a specialist speaker e.g a health consultant or solicitor, an extra charge of around £175 plus the cost of travel will be added for each specialist used.The following elements are included within the standard charge:

1. An attractive vinyl wallet containing booklets and pamphlets on a wide range of topics.
2. "Retirement – A Positive Approach" - a seventy six page book which provides a précis of the course/seminar content.
3. All necessary training equipment if the client does not have access to a DVD player, computer projector/laptop and a flipchart stand plus pad.
4. On a residential course the course leader will normally stay so that he/she is available to answer personal questions outside the normal course hours.
   

FEES

Prices can marginally increase or significantly decrease according to the style and timing of a course. We prefer to tailor courses to individual client's requirements and retain a flexible approach to price so that all levels of budget can be catered for. We are particularly sensitive to the needs of charities.

• Charges are based on the issue of twelve course packs per course (allowing for 12 delegates plus partners – 24 in total). An extra charge of £9.95 will be rendered for each additional pack issued.
• Travelling expenses are charged at 40p per mile.
• Accommodation and VAT are charged as applicable.
  

TWO DAY OPEN COURSES

These are run in a variety of geographical locations on dates throughout the year. These can be found on our website, but please contact us as additional locations and dates are always under consideration. The general price to attend these is £295 plus VAT for an individual and £495 plus VAT for a couple.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE COURSES

ONE DAY OPEN SEMINARS

Occasionally we offer one-day open seminars in some areas of the UK. The price for these is £195 for an individual and £295 for a couple. Dates and venues are on the website.

ONE-TO-ONE COUNSELLING/COACHING

We recognise that occasionally people are not able to attend open courses and that individuals may need some help within days or weeks. We can usually respond to such requests and will negotiate the price with clients according to the time and distance involved with the contract.

'TALKING RETIREMENT' AUDIO CD PACKAGE

This attractively boxed package consists of four CDs and an 80+ page supporting booklet covering all aspects of retirement planning. The television broadcaster, Angela Rippon, discusses with more than twelve experts a wide variety of topics. Each CD contains about an hour of content.

The list price of the package is £38.95.
There is the following quantity discount structure:
1-9 copies £38.95 each
10-49 copies £33.95 each
50-99 copies £29.95 each
100-249 copies £24.95 each
250+ price negotiable

Terms and Conditions of Order

1. Prices are exclusive of postage and packing, which will be charged at cost.
2. VAT is added to each account at the current rate.
3. Invoices are due for payment on receipt and products purchased do not become the property of the buyer until payment has been received.

Cancellation Charges

From time to time clients may be forced to cancel bookings for business reasons. With only a certain number of days available in the calendar this can mean potentially unrecoverable income losses for Retirement Education Services, and regrettably we have to render cancellation charges as a result.The following charges are subject to Retirement Education Services not being able to re-let dates to other clients. Should we be able to substitute a client at short notice the figure of income that is earned will be deducted from the cancellation charges.

OPEN COURSES

The following charges apply when a booking is cancelled on one of our open courses or senior executive courses:
